Tuesday 21st March

It is about time our chefs for the week get the recognition they deserve, so here is John Skinner and Vic Thomas cooking breakfast this morning.

The weather today is worse than yesterday from a slope soaring point of view, if you were on a family holiday it would be superb, calm, blue skies and a temperature of 13 degrees.

Brian Gowland, one of the local fliers went to the top of Rhiw mountain to check the conditions and reported "less wind than yesterday" thanks Brian.

So today's flying will concentrate on electric and mini bungee in the adjacent field.

This is a picture of the flightline in the field adjacent to the houses it was very busy as you can see, Graham James is about to launch his Hi-light hand launch on the mini bungee, Bill Hatton is waiting his turn while unbelievably Alan Butterworth has just caught his Zagi whilst waiting in the queue.

There was a lot of electric activity with Graham Stallards Selection (see below) seemingly always in the air performing impressive aerobatics.
Terry Antells Easy Pigeon was always disappearing of in thermal lift, with everybody getting a stir on the sticks. Norman Childs Crossfire, Tony Morgans Electric Blues and Alan Butterworths Twinstar were all busy as well.
Will there be wind tomorrow, the farmer says maybe!!!!!

Graham and Alan both pictured launching their electric models. The Twinstar is very impressive for a fun model, there will be a few orders placed when we return.
