Saturday 18th March
Well
here we go again, today found fifteen members on the way to North Wales. Picture
left shows some leaving the Little Chef , many more were still inside, breakfast
1/2 price today so there was talk of having two each.
Journey up was fairly uneventful we seemed to form a convoy and all join up as we make our way North. Terry & Tony's car in constant communication via walkie-talkies I'm not sure this was a good thing in retrospect if you know Terry, you know what I mean.
This
was two hours later and the pubs are now open so we all stop at the the Ship
in Llanbedrog, were we met up with one of the T.V.S.F. Founder members Norman
Boyde.

Picture on the right shows the last remaining founder members of the Thames Valley Silent Flyers leaving the pub, Norman Boyde, Terry Antell and John Skinner, they are still standing so we have not got off to the best of starts. Although Terry seems to need help standing up.
Picture below shows Terry's first contribution to the week five pints of full cream milk all over the kitchen floor. Looks like the kitchen is going to smell rather choice for the next week
.
We arrived safely at the house to find things missing like Tony has left his
LS3 tailplane at home, I have just blown the motor on my Mefisto electric
model so all in all not a bad start on the flying side of things. Two models
down and we have not flown yet. Weather is quite nice 8mph sunny so its electric
flying now at 4-37pm, batteries are charged so check in tomorrow for the next
installment.
