The highly entertaining to most but deadly serious to some indoor chucky competition was once again held at the February meeting. The standard of entry was very high, with the exception of John Skinner who competed using my balsa and equipment creating what can only be described as a flying brick s@#& house and some how managed not to come last (he did seem to be buying a lot of beer for the CD, but not for me which is why I have named and shamed him).
Thanks to all those who competed and gave the rest of us lazy gits, an entertaining evening and well done to Terry Antell for running the comp. with his assistant Vic Thomas who did the scoring (i.e. most of the work)
John
Price constructing the winning model, with John Skinner making a mess in the
background (only joking)
Norman Childs flew his IFO after the competition, possibly starting a new craze
by taking off from the pool table and crashing into the nearest table of beer
glasses.(good job they were empty, or Norman would have been demonstrating his
athletic skills in the sprinting dept.)
A most enjoyable club night, as always.
